Wipe your bag gently with a soft, dry cloth after use to lift away dust and surface marks. Handle it with clean hands — natural leather absorbs oils, and a light, even touch keeps the finish consistent as it ages.
For a deeper clean, use a slightly damp (never wet) cloth and let the leather air-dry naturally, away from direct heat. Avoid household cleaners, alcohol, or baby wipes — they strip the natural oils and can dull or crack the surface. For stubborn marks, a dedicated leather cleaner used sparingly is safest.
Every few months, treat your bag to a small amount of quality leather conditioner. Apply a thin layer with a soft cloth, in gentle circles, and buff off the excess. This keeps the leather supple, restores richness, and protects against drying. Always patch-test a hidden area first.
When your bag is resting, store it in the dust bag it arrived in, loosely stuffed with tissue paper or a soft cloth to hold its shape. Keep it in a cool, dry place out of direct sunlight — prolonged sun fades and dries leather. Avoid plastic bags, which trap moisture and prevent the leather from breathing.
Leather and water aren't friends. If your bag gets caught in the rain, pat it dry with a soft cloth and let it dry naturally at room temperature — never with a hairdryer or radiator. Once fully dry, a light conditioning helps restore any lost moisture.
